How can we help?

Most answers are below. Still stuck? Email us — we read everything.

What is the Calm Score?

A daily number from 0–100 that reflects how recovered and low-stress your body was, computed from your heart rate, resting heart rate, HRV and sleep. It’s baseline-normalized to you, so a 70 means the same effort across different ages and fitness levels.

Which devices work?

Anything that writes to Apple Health — Apple Watch, Garmin, Oura, Whoop (via Health), and more. Calmunity reads from Apple Health on your iPhone; it doesn’t talk to wearables directly.

Why don’t I have a score yet?

A day needs enough daytime heart-rate coverage before it scores, so today usually finalizes in the evening or the next morning. If you wore your watch and still see nothing, open You → your devices and make sure your watch isn’t marked “not mine.”

Is my health data private?

Yes. Your raw heart rate and sleep are read and scored on your phone and never leave it. Only your derived 0–100 score, display name and city are shared, to power the leaderboard. See the Privacy Policy.

How do leaderboards work?

You rank on your weekly calm average against your private groups and your city. A week ranks once you’ve scored at least 5 of 7 days, and the board resets every Monday.

How do I join or invite a group?

Open the Leaderboard → Groups tab, tap +, then create a group or enter a friend’s invite code. Share your code from inside any group to invite others.

How do I export or delete my data?

Export a CSV of your daily scores from the You tab. To delete your account and remove your profile, scores and group memberships from our backend, use delete account in-app or email us.
